Root Canal Treatment (RCT)

It is a procedure where a badly decayed or fractured or dead tooth is saved by removing its soft part (pulp) from the crown & the root of the tooth.

It is like mummifying a dead tooth to preserve it.

WHAT ARE THE INDICATIONS OF RCT?

  • Decayed tooth
  • Painful tooth
  • Non-vital or dead tooth
  • Trauma exposing the pulp
  • Grossly attired tooth
  • Intentional RCT

Root canal treatment is needed when an injury or a large cavity exposes the tooth's pulp and the root becomes infected or inflamed.

The dentist may numb the tooth if it is painful. An opening is made through the crown of the tooth to the pulp chamber.

Special files are used to clean the infection and unhealthy pulp is removed out of the canals.

Fixed Teeth in Nuh, Haryana.

The canals are filled with a permanent  material called gutta-percha cones. This helps to keep the canals free of infection or contamination & fills the dead space.

The filling remains until the tooth receives a permanent filling or a crown.

A crown, sometimes called a cap is placed over the top of the tooth. It looks like a natural tooth.

In some cases, a post is placed into the root next to the gutta-percha. This gives the crown more support. Fixed Permanent Teeth in Nuh, Mewat, Haryana.

Fixed Denture
(Implant Supported)

Fixed Denture (Implant Supported)
  • Fixed complete dentures use implants (4 or 6) to
  • hold the denture in place and feel like natural teeth.

  • Unlike their removable counterparts, fixed dentures feel
  • and function like natural teeth and allow you to eat what
  • you want again.
  • On the upper denture, the palate can be removed to
  • enhance temperature perception and improve taste.
  • On the lower denture, the edges are removed which
  • allows for more space for your tongue.
  • The materials range from traditional acrylic to porcelain
  • like crown and bridge for enhanced esthetics.
  • Advantages of the fixed denture
    • Feels and functions like natural teeth
    • You teeth are always fixed in your mouth
    • The permanent prosthesis is more comfortable than removable one
    • Improved confidence
    • Confidence that your teeth will not fall out while eating
    • Better chewing ability
    • Convenience: less denture adjustment visits
    • No denture adhesive
    • No palate on the upper denture which allows the temperature of food to be felt
    • Dental implants may reduce the rate at which the jaw shrinks
Overdentures (Implant Retained Dentures)

An overdenture is a complete denture that has a number of

implants usually 2, 4, or 6 that are used to stabilized and

hold a denture in place.

The denture has a snapping mechanism that allows the

denture to be removed, but gives the patient confidence

that the denture will stay in place, help with chewing and

feel more like natural teeth.

This dental treatment is the next step up from

traditional complete dentures to feel

closer to your natural teeth.

Occlusal Guard

An occlusal guard is a piece of acrylic (plastic) that prevents and separates the teeth from grinding and is the substance that is worn so your teeth are not.

These are specifically fitted for each patient and their bite.

Indications for occlusal guards are:

  •  People who grind or clench their teeth
  • To protect restorations that are placed
  • Treat temporomandibular disorders

Implants

Dental implants are traditionally made from titanium and mimic the root of a natural tooth to aid in the replacement of teeth.

Implants can be used in multiple modalities in oral rehabilitation including single/multi tooth restorations, retaining overdentures, and supporting fixed dentures.

The advantages of implants include:

  • Prevent bone loss
  • Allow restorations to better mimic real teeth
  • Prevent adjacent teeth from being affected to restore a missing tooth
  • Provide a fixed restoration rather than a removable one
  • Make removable restorations more like fixed ones
  • Improved quality of life
  • Increased confidence

Extractions

In some cases, there is nothing that

can be done to retain a tooth and it

must be removed.

Tooth removal can range from simple

extractions, to teeth broken down at the

gingiva, and other complex extractions

including complicated surgical

tooth extraction.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Composite Veneers are thin layers of composite resin bonded to

the front surfaces of teeth. It is a cosmetic dental procedure

that can be used to repair chipped, cracked, or discolored teeth.

Composite can also be used to fill in gaps between teeth,

to lengthen, or protect the root of a tooth. Composite veneers
